Insured/Employee Health and Well Being Vertical
We have built out the US with its population segmented into US Census Bureau categories and characteristics and brought in federal data of chronic illness, COVID, and environmental factors – all down to the State/County levels. We have a human terrain map of generic/composite individual and specific community health. Our Agent-based simulations are a perfect fit to health insurance and health policy institutions in exploring actions they can take to improve the healthy habits of citizens in different places and of different circumstances.
GOVCON Business Intelligence Vertical
Government Contracting (GOVCON) Business Intelligence. A major US firm competing for a multi-billion-dollar contract award wanted to test how their team composition could be improved relative to all of the different competitors. Using historical data, the likely team composition of a major competitor could be derived along with their likely team member roles. By simulating changes to opponent team composition by recruiting select members away, new probabilities of winning the contract could be forecasted. The simulations disclosed which task, in-sourcing and out-sourcing, and with which subcontractors were most influential in securing the highest probability of winning the contract. It worked.
Criminal Justice Reform
RWISE (v2) has been used for modeling and simulation of Criminal Justice Reform. This is a very timely and appropriate use of the software since it models human terrain as well as behaviors related to an individual’s wellbeing. The multitude of factors that may come into play with criminal behavior is a complex combination of beliefs, behaviors, well-being thresholds, opportunities, and knowledge sets. Addressing some elements of the criminal justice system doesn’t necessitate a meaningful change to the system for different individuals. What’s more, the changes likely have ramifications to the societal well-being of the community in safety and security. We brought in criminal justice data into our human terrain mapping along with criminal justice process flows to map potential reforms based on testing of “best practices” from around the US. Government-constructed stovepipes of safety and security and health and human services can both be tested with all of their complex interactions.

The International Economic Ecosystem Vertical
The RWISE Virtual International System (VIS) platform will allow governments and businesses to forecast into the international future. RWISE will incorporate the national and international economic factors and facets critical to economic and social health into the VIS for simulations to test your strategies or help define leading indicators of important “inflection points” in the future. RW VIS can serve stovepipes such as contracting, supply chain management, and the Internet of Things (IoT) on the international level. It can support predictive modeling of emergent technologies and implications to businesses and industries and societal trends that may emerge from future technology adoption. It can also be the integrative platform for the various stovepipes through integration and federation of data schema ontologies.
The RWISE platform can be used at the greatest granularity to establish each manufacturer, vendor, and transporter in the supply chain – from raw material to the final product, or to project international financial markets and country economics. RWISE includes the capability for automated strategy discovery of each key entity, providing unique risk management capabilities to users of all kinds.
